Better Friends is a Fabric client mod that changes how the friends menu and main menu are laid out.

What it does

The mod reworks the friends menu so it sits in place on the main menu. Before this change, random squares broke up the flow of the menu; Better Friends moves them to the bottom edge, so the rest of the screen reads as one balanced layout. Only the client needs it, and servers run without it. Files are published for Fabric, for the 26.1 – 26.3 range, under the MIT License, and the mod is open source. Fabric Language Kotlin is required.

    The stray squares that used to interrupt the main menu are placed along the bottom of the screen.

To me the new main menu looked very unbalanced with the random squares interrupting the flow of the main menu, so I made a mod that puts the squares at the bottom and lets you have your main menu look nice.
