BetaTweaks StationAPI
by Telvarost
Installed on a Babric or Fabric client, BetaTweaks StationAPI brings back older Beta features through a set of config options.
What it does
Each feature in the mod is a config option that can be turned on or off, so a world can bring back older Beta behavior without changing anything else. Examples include punching sheep for wool, boats and elevators, a 2x2 crafting grid in the player inventory, gaps between ladders, and the hiding or showing of achievement notifications, dead shrubs and long grass. Colored sheep spawning can also be disabled. Settings are synced between server and clients when GlassConfigAPI version 3.0 or later is installed.
The mod is for b1.7.3 only, published for Babric and Fabric, and runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Mod Menu and StationAPI are optional dependencies. The mod is incompatible with UniTweaks, and its options need Mod Menu and GlassConfigAPI to be changed in the game. Snapshot builds are published. The code is open source under the MIT License, with a public source repository and issue tracker.

Use cases
Beta-style survival servers
Server owners who run a b1.7.3 world can set the options to match the older Beta rules their players expect.
Single-player tuning
A single player can turn individual features on or off to test how each older mechanic plays.
Who it’s for: Players and server owners who want specific older Beta behaviors on b1.7.3 and are comfortable setting options through Mod Menu or config files.
How it compares
Sheep Eat Grass is a Babric and Fabric mod for b1.7.3 that is server required and client optional, released under the CC0 1.0 Universal license. BTA Elevators is a Fabric mod for b1.7.3 that is server-side only, also under CC0 1.0 Universal. BetaTweaks StationAPI instead needs both sides, since the server and every player run it, and it is under the MIT License.
