Berry Bounty
by jaevy
Berry Bounty adds a set of special berries to Fabric, each with its own effect when eaten, from flight and extra weight to fire, frost and mob reactions.
What it does
Berry Bounty adds special berries that players eat for timed effects. Airy Berries launch the eater upward and make them lighter, Heavy Berries slow them and make them bulkier, Spicy Berries warm them and set nearby ground on fire, and Frost Berries protect against burning while freezing the eater. Beast Berries grant strength at the cost of heavy hunger, Sea Berries restore some air and allow water breathing, and Sinister Berries make most mobs hostile. Other berries reduce or increase knockback taken, negate fall damage until the ground is reached, or make the player fall faster.
The mod is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later, and only the source code is published as a public link. Berry Bounty requires Fabric API. Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. Files cover game versions 1.21.1, 1.21.2, 1.21.3 and 1.21.4, and the latest Fabric file is 1.0.0 for 1.21.4, released as a beta on 2025-03-08.
