Ben's Christmas Mod

by BennyMcCarthy_

Ben's Christmas Mod is a Fabric decoration mod for 1.20.1 that adds winter holiday blocks, string lights, a gingerbread man and a meringue dessert.

What it does

The mod adds festive decorative blocks in several dye colours, including placed decorative blocks and side blocks that give off light level 4. Single coloured string lights and a decorative leaf piece can be placed on walls and surfaces to dress up a room or a winter scene.

Food is part of the set. A raw gingerbread man smelts into a cooked version, and eating one restores 4 hunger points. A meringue-based dessert of the kind served in New Zealand and Australia is crafted as a building block and can be eaten in slices like a regular Minecraft cake.

The mod needs Fabric API on Fabric for 1.20.1 and runs on the client and the server, so the server and every player need it. The author describes it as a first art project, a simple set of decorative blocks and items, and the source code is public on GitHub. It is not open source; the code is under All rights reserved.
