Bedrock Enhancement

Bedrock Enhancement lets players break bedrock, which is normally unbreakable, and craft tools, armor and items from the material it yields.
What it does
Bedrock that vanilla treats as indestructible can be mined with the mod's breakable bedrock variants. Bedrock debris drops the material used for the other content, so a world does not need any other route to reach it. The mod also adds quasi bedrock blocks, bedrock doors, bedrock sandstone and bedrock clay, along with bedrock bricks for building.
The item set covers a bedrock apple, a bedrock stick, bedrock string and rough bedrock string. Bedrock tools include a pickaxe, sword, axe, shovel and hoe, plus a bedrock bow and bedrock arrows. A full bedrock armor set gives helmet, chestplate, leggings and boots. A custom music disc called Want is also included.
Forge is the only loader, and the mod targets 1.20.1 – 1.20.6. The server and every player need the mod installed. The code is released under the MIT License and is open source, with public source code and an issue tracker. Files were first published on 2026-05-15, and the latest Forge file, 1.9.2 for 1.20.6, is dated 2026-08-16.
