Barched Extra Spears
by zzik2
Barched Extra Spears gives the Barched spear set more items, adding spears made from materials that other installed mods provide.
What it does
Installed supported mods are detected when the game loads, and their materials are used to register matching spears automatically, so no extra setup is needed. Paradise Lost, Aether, Deeper Darker, Dragon Loot, Progression Reborn, Additional Additions, Enderite and Bronze each add their own set of spears, and the count depends on what is installed. Spears added this way are placed in the mod's creative tab, and the Barched spears are required for the mod to work.
The mod is a library-style addon for Barched, and it also depends on Architectury API and Cloth Config API. Stats for each spear can be changed through JSON config files, so a server owner can tune damage and durability without touching code. Barched Extra Spears runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it, and it is released under the MIT License as open source. Files target 1.21.1 on both Fabric and NeoForge, with the latest file version 0.0.2 dated 2026-06-29.

How it compares
Heavy Spear is a NeoForge-only spear mod for 1.21.1, open source under the MIT License, with client and server environment. Let Me Block! is a Fabric-only mod for 1.21.11, also open source under the MIT License, and runs on client and server. This mod covers Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.1 and adds spears on top of the existing spear set, so it suits players already running that set. Technnare's Simple Spears is Fabric-only for 1.21.6 – 1.21.10, is not open source, and is server required with the client optional.
