Automatic Infinite Elytra
by AdyTech99
Automatic Infinite Elytra adds a client-side autopilot that keeps a player gliding by repeating the head movement pattern of a vanilla infinite-flight glitch.
What it does
With Automatic Flight Mode switched on and the player already airborne, the autopilot keeps the elytra aloft by performing the head movement sequence on its own. The player sets a destination with the setDestination command, using x and z coordinates, and the mod can land by itself when Perform Automatic Landing is turned on in the config. Flight can be stopped at any time, and a destination can be cleared with removeDestination.
The mod also records statistics for each autopiloted flight. Average speed and elytra durability used are stored per flight, and the flightanalytics command shows them. A new autopiloted flight clears the previous data, and recording can be switched off entirely in the config or printed automatically after each flight. Flight speed, elytra durability and automatic collision detection are all configurable, and an optional HUD shows elytra information during flight.
The mod runs on Fabric and is client-side only, so only the player needs it. It needs Fabric API and YetAnotherConfigLib (YACL), and Mod Menu is optional for in-game settings. Files cover 1.20.1 – 1.21.5, with 7.0.0 for 1.21.5 as the latest, and the code is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
