AutoBreachSwap
by ProPlayer3x7
AutoBreachSwap is a Fabric client-side utility that switches the hotbar to a mace when a player holds a sword and attacks, so breach attributes apply without manual scrolling.
What it does
Holding a sword and left-clicking moves the selected hotbar slot to the mace, letting the attack land with breach density. The swap runs in one direction only: a persistent slot lock keeps the mace selected after the hit, and the player decides when to switch back. Set the target mace slot anywhere from 1 to 9 in the in-game menu, and turn the mod on or off from the same place.
The mod is built on tag-based detection instead of fixed item IDs, which is why it covers Minecraft 1.21 and its sub-versions through 1.21.8+. Installation needs Fabric and Cloth Config API, and ModMenu is needed to open the settings screen. The mod is client-side only, so servers do not need it. It is published for Fabric across 12 release versions, 1.21 – 1.21.11, under All rights reserved, and is not open source.
The author's notes say the mod only automates hotbar switching and does not change the inventory. Before running it in competitive play, a player should confirm that the server's rules allow inventory automation and macro mods.
Key features
One-click mace swap
Left-clicking while holding a sword switches the hotbar to the mace in a single action.
One-way attribute swap
The mace stays selected after the swap, unlike mods that force the sword back immediately.
Persistent slot lock
The chosen mace slot remains active until the player switches back by hand.
Configurable mace slot
The target hotbar slot can be set from 1 to 9 in the in-game settings menu.
Tag-based detection
Items are recognized through tags, so the swap keeps working across the 1.21 sub-versions.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Players on Fabric who use both a mace and a sword in 1.21 or later and want the hotbar to change on attack. Because the mod changes hotbar selection automatically, players on servers with rules against inventory automation should check those rules first.
