Auth
by lullaby
Auth adds a login and registration system for servers, where players must sign in before they can play.
What it does
Auth protects a server by requiring each player to register an account and log in. Players can change their password, and only after logging in do they get access to the world. Server owners manage settings through a settings menu and commands, and a command grants an authentication bypass to a chosen player.
The server must run the mod, while players may add it to the client but do not need it. Files are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, with 23 release versions 1.19 – 26.3, and the latest file is v1.6.2+mod for 26.3. The mod is released under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later and is open source.

Password change
Logged-in players can change their password, which keeps their account under their own control.
Administrator commands
A settings menu and commands let server owners adjust the system and grant an authentication bypass to a player.

What the author says
In vanilla we cannot use /kick, so I use many particles to kick (game crash) a malicious player, but you can disable it by disabling kick in /function auth:settings. Creating your own server can be a very lengthy, tedious and costly process.
