MT Augmented Reborn is a Fabric addon for the TechReborn mod that rewrites the Quantum Armor set with attribute-based bonuses and new utility functions.
What it does
The mod works alongside TechReborn and its Augmented Reborn addon, changing the futuristic armor pieces so their effects come from attributes rather than potion-style status effects. Each rebalanced piece gives a set amount of damage reduction and draws energy while it protects the wearer, which ties the armor to the power system of the base mod.
Rewritten Quantum Armor pieces add new abilities: a night vision toggle bound to the N key, boots that guard against fall damage, and a helmet that absorbs kinetic energy. The mod is aimed at players who already use TechReborn and want its armor to feel more deliberate in combat and exploration, and at server owners who run TechReborn packs.
Installation needs Fabric API. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. Files are published for Fabric only, for Minecraft 1.20.1, with 2.0.6 for 1.20.1 as the latest file released on 2024-12-09. The code is under a custom license, and the project is not open source, though its source code and issue tracker are public.
