Armorless deals damage to players who are wearing armor, turning worn gear into a risk on Fabric servers.

What it does

Armorless makes armor a liability: while a player wears armor, the mod deals damage over time, and the amount scales with the defense of the worn pieces, so a diamond chestplate costs more health than a leather one. Players can remove the armor and stop the damage, which gives roughly five seconds of safe time after a 4-damage tick. The mod was inspired by hardcore multiplayer play in the style of Naked Afraid.

Armorless is server-side only, so players join without installing anything. Released under the Apache License 2.0 and open source, it is published for Fabric across 13 release versions, 1.20 – 1.21.10, with 1.0.2 for 1.21.10 as the latest file. Behavior is set in the armorless.properties file in the config directory.
