Argon adds a set of small utility features for Fabric, including protection against accidental item loss and a tool that stops working at low durability.

What it does

Argon collects several utility features in one Fabric mod. Its drop protection, called SafeDropMod, keeps items from being dropped by mistake, and its Tools Disabler stops a tool from breaking when its durability runs low, so a pickaxe with little durability left cannot be used up. The mod runs on the client alone, so only players install it. It needs Fabric API and MidnightLib, and Mod Menu is optional. Files cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1, and the latest Fabric file, 4.1.0, is for 1.21.1. The code is not open source and is released under All rights reserved.

Key features

  1. Drop protection

    SafeDropMod stops items from being dropped by accident, and a command can be used to test the protection in singleplayer.

  2. Low durability lock

    Tools Disabler prevents a tool from breaking once its durability falls low, so it cannot be worn down to nothing.

  3. Test commands

    Commands included in the mod give a low durability pickaxe, so the protection can be checked right away in a world.

You can use the command below to give u a low durability pickaxe, mining 4 or 5 block with the pickaxe and check at level 15 of durability, u can't broke more. And you can use the command below to test the drop protection.
