ARAI PVP
by ARBird
ARAI PVP adds an AI sparring bot to Minecraft Java for players who want to practice combat against a player-like opponent.
What it does
The bot uses a custom local combat logic that runs fast in the game, with optional OpenRouter AI models that can update its tactics. Free models on OpenRouter are supported, so the AI part does not require a paid account. Players fight the bot in single-player or on a server, and the fights are meant to resemble a real PvP duel rather than a fight against vanilla monsters.
The mod targets Fabric and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Files cover 26.1 – 26.1.2 with three release versions, and the latest file is 1.0.0 for 26.1.2, published 2026-05-02. Fabric API is required, and the build listed with it is 0.147.0+26.1.2. The code is released under the MIT License, and it is not open source.
Key features
Player-like sparring bot
The bot chooses tactics that resemble those of a human opponent, so practice feels closer to a real duel.
Adjustable difficulty
A simple command spawns bots at a chosen level, from the mildest setting up to a Nightmare mode, letting beginners and experienced players pick their own challenge.
Continuous practice loops
A bot can spawn once for a single match or in a loop, creating an endless training arena for aim, timing and weapon combos.
Optional AI models
OpenRouter models can be enabled for the bot, and the mod also works with the local combat logic alone.

Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Solo combat training
A player practices aim, timing and combos in their own world against the bot instead of predictable monsters.
Preparing for servers
Players who want better competitive PvP can rehearse fights before joining crowded servers.
Who it’s for: Players who want structured PvP practice in single-player, and server owners who want a sparring partner that does not depend on other players being online.
How it compares
MaceBot is also a Fabric mod for 1.21 – 26.2 and runs on client and server under the MIT License, which it shares with this mod, but its file range is wider. SMP PvP Bots covers Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt for 26.1 – 26.3 and is server required with client optional, so the server side carries it. xFeviAI-MOD is a Fabric server-side only mod for 1.21.11, released under All rights reserved.
