Apathetic Mobs Reborn
by embeddedt
Apathetic Mobs Reborn changes hostile mobs so they stop attacking players by default, with an optional revenge setting for mobs that have been struck.
What it does
Installed on a server, the mod makes hostile mobs neutral or passive, so they no longer approach players to attack. Vanilla AI goals are used for the change, and a blacklist can exclude specific mobs or difficulty levels. Only the server needs the mod, so players join without installing it. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and requires Fabric API on Fabric.
Key features

Hostile mobs are made neutral or passive instead of attacking players on sight.
Mob and difficulty blacklist
Specific mobs or difficulty levels can be excluded from the change through a blacklist.
Optional revenge behavior
An optional setting lets a mob that has been struck fight back against the player.

What the author says
A blacklist for difficulties and mobs has been implemented. Revenge is also available as an option. Things should work largely the same as they did with 1.12 and the other mod installed.
