AmuletOfReturning

The amulet is worn in the Curios necklace slot. When the wearer would take fatal damage, the amulet cancels the death, restores 1 HP and moves the player to safety. Activation shows a custom overlay and a particle animation that resembles the Totem of Undying effect. The mod targets large modpacks, where players spend many hours crafting armor that would otherwise vanish on death, and it protects gear without relying on keep-inventory rules.

On activation the player teleports to the next bound Waystone when Waystones is installed and the amulet is linked to one; the link is made by holding the amulet in hand while sneaking and right-clicking a Waystone. Without a bound Waystone the amulet falls back to the bed or world spawn. If the amulet is destroyed, normal respawn behavior applies, and the tooltip lists the bound Waystone coordinates when Waystones is present.

The mod is published for NeoForge only, for 1.21.1, and runs on client and server, so the server and every player need it. Its license is the MIT License, and it is open source. Public links exist for the source code and a wiki. The first file was published on 2026-03-15 and the latest, version 1.0.1, on 2026-03-16.
