What it does

Amplified Nether raises the height of the Nether dimension to 256 blocks and restores the mountain terrain shown in the early Nether Update footage. Biomes use 3D placement, so any biome can now meet any other.

Not safely. Reset the existing Nether first or start a new world, because the mod changes how the dimension is generated.

Is Amplified Nether compatible with Incendium?

No. The mod is not compatible with Incendium, but it is often compatible with other Nether mods, for example Better Nether.
