AmethystToolCrafting lets players craft copper, diamond and amethyst-shard tools through recipes that the mod defines, with textures supplied by a separate resource pack.

What it does

Amethyst-shard tools are made with sticks and amethyst shards in the mod's own recipes. The crafting recipes for copper and diamond tools such as axes, hoes, pickaxes, shovels and swords are set by the mod too, so each tool type follows the same pattern. Using the tools as intended requires AmethystToolTexture, which the mod names as a required dependency.

The included datapack carries the recipes, and a resource pack named AmethystToolTexture supplies the textures that make the amethyst-shard tools look made from shards. Some player-facing screens also show the custom recipes, so the crafting options can be checked in game. Players who install several recipe datapacks together need MoreToolTexture as well. The server must run the mod, while players may leave it out, though the full look needs the resource pack.

Builds are published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and the data pack is a separate option for servers. Files cover 15 release versions, 1.21.2 – 26.3, and the latest file is for 26.3. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
