What it does

In the Aether, the usual rule that blocks fire cannot be placed is replaced. Placing a Torch or a Lantern there converts it into its extinguished form instead. The addon requires The Aether to be installed, and it runs on client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Builds cover 1.19.2 – 1.21.1 across Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, under a custom license that is not open source.

    Placing a Torch in the Aether dimension produces a fire-free torch instead of being blocked.

  2. Extinguished Lantern

    Placing a Lantern in the Aether dimension produces a fire-free lantern in the same way.

  3. Fire rule replaced

    The addon changes the placement rule for these two blocks, so fire-free variants fill the gap left by the disallowed flames.
