What it does

The Aether dimension is a hostile paradise above the Overworld, and falling off its islands sends a player back down. The dimension centers on a survival progression that starts from a vanilla-like base and adds new ores, mythical mobs and three dungeons, each with its own boss and loot. Eternal Day holds the time of day until the final dungeon is cleared, after which the Sun Altar lets players control the day cycle.

The mod is maintained for current Minecraft versions and is fully compatible with multiplayer. Its content includes the Altar, Freezer and Incubator utility blocks, four material tiers (Skyroot, Holystone, Zanite and Gravitite) with their own tools and weapons, a companion guide book that catalogs the mod's items, and Moas, flying mounts whose jump counts vary by tier. Installation needs oωo (owo-lib). Builds for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and ModLoader cover b1.7.3 – 1.21.1, and the mod is released under a custom license that is not open source.
