AE2InfinityCell
AE2InfinityCell gives AE2 players one storage cell that holds an effectively unlimited amount of items, fluids and essentia on 1.7.10.
What it does
The Infinity Storage Cell is one item for AE2 storage systems. A cell mounts in an AE2 drive or any compatible AE storage host, and the cell works as item, fluid and essentia storage through the Thaumic Energistics channel support. Its capacity counts types rather than stacks, so AE2 sees it as effectively unlimited.
The cell keeps its actual contents out of the item. The item NBT stores only a UUID reference, and the contents are written to external storage scoped to the current world save. Copying a cell inside the same save makes a copy with the same UUID, so both cells share one backing record. Moving a cell to another save carries only the UUID string, unless the saved data is moved along with it.
The mod targets the GTNH-era Minecraft 1.7.10 packs. It is built on Minecraft Forge 10.13.4.1614 and needs UniMixins. Client and server both need it, so the server and every player run the same version. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source and issue tracker are public.
Key features
Unlimited cell
One storage cell with effectively unlimited capacity, counted by types, for AE2 storage systems.
Item, fluid and essentia
The cell serves items, fluids and essentia through AE2's custom cell handler channels.
Lightweight item
The cell item stores only a UUID, so the stack stays small while the contents live in the world save.
Shared backing
Copied cells in one save keep the same UUID and share the same contents on purpose.
