Storage Organizer

Storage Organizer lets players create filter tabs for the Applied Energistics 2 and Refined Storage terminals on their own client.
What it does
Filter tabs are defined by the player and shown on the AE2 terminal or the RS grid. Each tab can be built from an item, an item tag, a text condition or a per-stack data component such as NBT, and a single click switches between them. Tabs take turns, so only one is in use at once in each storage system, and a tab's filter narrows the list alongside the storage's own search field.
The editor opens from a settings icon. Inside it the inventory is shown along the bottom, and an item list from the item viewer can appear beside the editor so items can be dragged in. Each filter window can be cleared individually, and a filter set can be copied to another window through Export and Import.
Storage Organizer is a client-side mod for Forge and NeoForge, released under the MIT License and open source. Only the client needs it, and it adds nothing on the server, so servers run without it. Both Applied Energistics 2 and Refined Storage are optional, and the mod works with either, both or neither installed, adding tabs to whichever are present. Files cover 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 26.1.2, with the latest files for 2.2.0 on 26.1.2 and 1.20.1.

Multiple filter windows
One or more filter windows can be attached to a terminal, and a window's icon can show the item, tag or text it filters.
Visual themes
Windows are drawn in the native look of the backend, using AE2's own GUI style with its dark mode and resource packs, or RS's grid style with its own wrench icon.
Combined search
Typed text in the storage's search field narrows a broad tab, so one tab type can be refined to a smaller set of items.

Sophisticated JEI Index is a client and server mod under the MIT License, open source, for 1.20.1 – 26.1.2, and it works with the item viewer rather than with terminal tabs. AE2 Fluid Crafting Terminal is also client and server and open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, for 1.20.1 – 26.1.2, and it adds fluid crafting rather than filter tabs.
