Ad Mortum

Ad Mortum adds a Shadow remnant type and a Cloaked Soul Vessel, along with Soul Shards, Ethereal Chains and an Awakened Tachylite block. Several of these items tie into the Requiem remnant system: a remnant can dissociate and recreate its body, which makes the player close to immortal, while the Shadow type can kill flying, incorporeal entities. Using the Cloaked Soul Vessel turns a soul into a Shadow.

Souls can be spent at a pentagram, which is created by using the Pentagram W tool, and ban demons from a server within a set radius of the user. Soul Shards work in a different way: an operator can give a shard to a named player with a command, and using a shard unbans a player who gave up existence. The Awakened Tachylite block is formed from a soul shard and resists normal breaking, and stepping back from a chiseled Tachylite block can cost a player their place on the server. Ad Mortum is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. It is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is published for Quilt on 1.19.2 only.
