Additional Armoury

by Provismet

Additional Armoury, from Provismet, adds two melee weapons, two ranged weapons, two armour tool materials and new enchantments to Minecraft Java Edition.

FabricQuiltClient and serverCustom license1.20 – 1.21.11

What it does

The new melee weapons include maces and daggers. Maces are aimed at player-versus-player fights and can deal extra damage to an opponent wearing armour, with enchantments that change how they behave. Daggers gain a charged hit that applies their potion to the target. Boomerangs are the new ranged weapons, and the staves use a spell that is charged and then released, so they trigger on release instead of on use the way bows do.

Enchantments are a major part of the mod. Adhesive grants unlimited potion use but drains durability faster, while Splatter applies potions to nearby enemies. Shredding lengthens an armour penalty, Dismantle adds durability damage to armour, Ricochet and Discus extend boomerang behaviour, and Multithrow shoots three boomerangs at once. Staff enchantments can only be found in loot, not from librarian villagers. The armour materials differ by dimension: the Overnether set gives maximum health and the Endernether set gives bonus movement.

The mod is a Fabric and Quilt addition that needs Combat+ Core and Fabric API. Dual Swords is optional, and daggers are classed as dual weapons so they work with it. Additional Armoury is released under a custom license and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Melee weapons

Two new melee weapons, including maces tuned for combat between players.

  2. Ranged weapons

Two new ranged weapons, with boomerangs that carry their own enchantments.

  3. Staff spells

Staves cast a charged spell that fires on release, and the spell is most effective when prepared ahead of time.

  4. Modified dagger enchantments

Adhesive and Splatter reshape how potions are applied, and both shape how durability is used up.
