A Breach Happened
by Frozytime
A Breach Happened is a Cursed data pack that adds psychological horror to a world, built around three new entities and a story led by a white figure.
What it does
The data pack introduces three new entities and a wide set of events, including random signs, unusual terrain, strange sounds and tense music. Its aim is to make the player feel that something is stalking the world. A white figure drives the story: looking at it makes the player turn around, and it can send the player into a Void dimension where it introduces itself before sending them back.
Rare spawns walk around the player making footstep sounds until they reach the player and fly toward their face. Sleeping carries a 10% chance of a Herobrine jumpscare. A structure built from oak fences and pillars holds a chest that triggers a jumpscare when opened. Some underground spots spawn a spooky image in low light, and it jumps at the player when they come close. The data pack is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, for game versions 1.21.10 – 26.2, and it runs on the server, so players need nothing extra; the client is optional. The mod is released under All rights reserved and is not open source.
