Zombie Invasion adds five new zombie variants to Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.2 on Forge, each spawning naturally in the world.

What it does

The variants range from a Balloon Zombie that drifts around and can be stopped by shooting its balloon with an arrow, to a Floaty Zombie that hangs around beaches. A Snowball Zombie hurls snowballs at any moving target, a Party Zombie scatters party items once it is killed, and a Knight Zombie wears heavy armour and takes more punishment than the others. The author describes the set as the start of a larger variety of zombies.

The mod runs on Forge for Minecraft 1.19.2 only, and the environment is client and server, so the server and every player need it. It is released under a custom license and is not open source. The latest file is 1.2.0, published on 2023-04-16, which is also the first release date.
