Your Options Shall Be Respected writes default values into any option file that is missing, so a fresh install has settings to start from.

What it does

When the game reads a configuration file that does not exist, the mod supplies its default option values and creates the file with them. Existing files are left untouched, so settings a player has already changed are kept. The mod has one job and adds no blocks, items or screens.

Installation requires Fabric Loader, and the API is not listed as a requirement. Builds exist for Fabric and Quilt, with the latest file 0.1.2 for 26.3 dated 2023-06-12, and snapshot builds are published. Client-side only, and licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, so the license is open source.
