Yank It Out

Yank It Out lets a player pull arrows out of a body, with a right click on a block or air using an empty hand.
What it does
Arrows stuck in a player or a mob can be removed with an empty hand, so they no longer stay in the body. An optional gamerule keeps stuck arrows in place until the player logs out or dies. The mod runs on client and server, so both sides need it. Builds are published for Forge only, for 1.16.5 – 1.20.1, with 1.0.0 for 1.18.2 as the latest file, and the code is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only.
Key features
Removing arrows by hand
A right click on a block or air with an empty hand pulls out the arrows lodged in the body.
Keeping stuck arrows
A gamerule keeps arrows stuck in a player until logout or death, so they stay visible.
Shooting back
A pulled arrow can be fired again, which turns the removal into a quick way to return the shot.
