XenoFactions
XenoFactions, a Forge mod for Minecraft 1.7.10, adds factions built around named cities, territorial claims and nation-scale politics on multiplayer servers.
What it does
XenoFactions is a fork of the xRadar and HFR factions code. Its changes focus on usability for server owners who want a factions system without plugins. Claims are made per named city, not per individual chunk, and upgrading a city widens the area it covers.
Faction members get management tools for homes, warps, message of the day and colors that give each faction its identity. New players can receive configurable protection, and an optional keep-inventory grace period. A Build Grace system lets newly created factions set up infrastructure before any conflict starts. Optional Dynmap integration lets a server publish live territorial maps.
Every player and the server need a copy of the mod. It is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 only, and its source code is public. Files are published for Forge 1.7.10 only, with 2.2.2 as the latest file, updated on 2026-08-24.
