Xaero Zoomout lowers the minimum zoom of Xaero's World Map, letting players view far larger areas of the map at once.

What it does

The mod lowers the zoom floor of the map so that the fully zoomed-out view reaches a much wider stretch of terrain. Without it, that view covers roughly 30k blocks across; with it, the width grows to about 760k blocks. Xaero's World Map is required, and the mod is listed as client-side only, so servers need nothing installed.

Does Xaero Zoomout need Xaero's World Map?

Yes. Xaero's World Map is a required dependency and must be installed alongside the mod.

Is Xaero Zoomout still needed on newer versions?

Not on current releases. The zoom-out option now ships inside Xaero's World Map itself, so the separate mod is no longer required there.

As of v1.42.0, extended zoom-out is a built-in option in Xaero's World Map, so this mod is no longer required. Reduces the minimum zoom of Xaero's World Map from 0.0625x to 0.0025x.
