xaero-world-map-bridge
by billstark001
A client-side library, Xaero World Map Bridge gives other mods a way to draw custom overlays on top of Xaero's World Map interface.
What it does
Map overlays are ordered layers that sit above the map image and under Xaero's own map elements, drawn whenever a compatible render hook is present. Library mods read a map context that reports the camera, zoom level, dimensions and screen-space conversion, so custom content lines up with the map.
The bridge offers loader-neutral APIs for map and UI overlays, so one build of a client mod works on both Fabric and NeoForge. When Xaero changes its rendering internals, a compatibility fallback draws the overlays and reports clear diagnostics, and an optional Fabric Mod Menu setting turns that fallback on or off. The mod needs Fabric API on Fabric and Xaero's World Map on both loaders, with both matching the Minecraft version. Minecraft 26.3 is covered by the NeoForge file, since no compatible Xaero Fabric build exists for that version.
