Worlds Resourcepack Setter
by sourcels
Worlds Resourcepack Setter lets a Fabric player or server owner bundle the resource packs active in a world into one pack stored with that world.
What it does
The mod embeds the resource packs that a world currently uses into a single resource pack, which can be kept with the save. The setResources command performs this step: run without parameters, it gives the same result as the default setup, and with parameters it adjusts what gets collected. Packs can come from the player, the built-in packs, mods and loaders, and a setting decides whether to include only packs compatible with the current game version or also incompatible ones.
A configuration file holds the defaults, including whether vanilla Minecraft textures are part of the output, the path where the generated pack is saved, and a filename prefix for the generated pack. The pack replacement system uses these options internally, which matters when many packs are present. The server and every player need the mod installed. Worlds Resourcepack Setter is open source under the MIT License and is published for Fabric only, with 0.8.0+fabric+1.21.11 for 1.21.11 as the latest file, released 2026-01-02.
Key features
Embedding the active packs
The resource packs active in the current world are combined into one pack that is stored with that world.
Command with parameters
The setResources command accepts parameters that choose which packs are collected, and without them it behaves like the default.
Compatibility filter
Only packs compatible with the current game version can be included, or incompatible ones as well.
Custom output path and prefix
The save location and the filename prefix of the generated pack can be changed, so packs can be stored elsewhere.
