Datapack Sync
by Mabeeck
Datapack Sync lets server admins move datapacks between their own machine and a Fabric server without manual file transfers.
What it does
The mod targets server datapack management. Its two commands, worldaccess-push and worldaccess-pull, upload a local datapacks folder to a server and fetch a server's datapacks folder back to a local machine. The author originally intended it to handle the entire world folder, but it only supports the datapacks folder. Fetched copies are placed in the minecraft folder in appdata%\.minecraft by default, inside folders named after the server IP and the world.
Both commands require permission level 4 by default, and separate settings control the read and write permission levels. A filter can decide which files pass: whitelist mode is the default, blacklist mode is available, and files without an extension may be allowed through. Datapack Sync needs Fabric API to run. The mod is client and server, so both sides need it, and it is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, making it open source. Files exist for 1.21 – 26.3, 17 release versions in total, and the latest Fabric file is 2.3+26.3 for 26.3, published 2026-09-25 on the beta channel.
Key features
Datapack upload
The worldaccess-push command sends a local datapacks folder to the server, replacing the manual copy step.
Datapack fetch
The worldaccess-pull command fetches the server's datapacks folder into a local folder named after the server.
File filtering
Whitelist and blacklist modes select which files are transferred, and an option lets extensionless files pass the filter.
Permission settings
Separate read and write permission levels control who can run each command, with level 4 as the default.

Use cases
Who it’s for: Server owners and admins who maintain datapacks on Fabric servers and want a command-based way to move them. The author recommends pairing the mod with a restart command such as the one in Advanced Backups.
How it compares
Vestigate is server-side only and published for 1.21.1 – 1.21.5, under the MIT License, with no open source claim. DeathHistoryNotes is client-side only, open source under the MIT License, and covers 1.21.5 – 1.21.10, so it is a client tool rather than a server one.

For what reason would anybody use this? I made this mod, because a friend of mine had a private creative server and I wanted…
