World Preview Prime lets players view a world seed on a map, both before a world is created and while it is already being played.

What it does

Players can open the seed map from the Pause Menu with the World Preview button, or check a seed before creating a new world. The map view draws the biome colors used by Chunkbase and Cubiomes, so the terrain matches those tools. Structure icons are built from blocks and items instead of custom textures, and they are drawn larger than in the original, which makes them easier to pick out.

The project was forked from the original World Preview after its developer became inactive. Both forks continue to receive updates for newer versions, and the fork adds datapack and configuration options. Its most noticeable change from the original is the set of colors. A contributor added full Lithostitched compatibility in an initial port to 26.1. The mod is published for Fabric and NeoForge, for the game versions 26.1 – 26.1.2, and the code is open source under the Apache License 2.0.
