World-class Trustworthy Floppas, a Forge mob mod for 1.12.2, adds caracal mobs that spawn in the world and can be tamed by players.

What it does

Caracals generate naturally in the world, most often in savannahs. Players can tame them much like ocelots, using raw fish, raw chicken or raw rabbit, and once tamed they can be bred to produce baby floppas. The mod is built around caracals that act as protectors for their owners rather than waiting passively for trouble to start.

The mod is still in development, and the author describes it as a future project that is being ported past 1.12.2. The 1.12.2 Forge build is the only one published so far, and the author notes that other caracal mods already exist for other versions. The name's acronym is intentional.

Installation needs only Forge and this mod, since it runs on the client and on the server. Both sides need it. The code is open source under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only, and its source code and issue tracker are public.
