GregTech Food Option (GTFO)

Food items in GTFO are built through multi-step recipes instead of being crafted in a single grid. A popcorn snack, for example, starts with paper bags and popcorn kernels cooked in an electric blast furnace, then gains a buttery flavor from a mix of seasoning chemicals. Several of those chemicals are produced in a chemical plant from a Grignard reagent and other reagents, following a reaction that exists in real chemistry.

The add-on also includes chains for food used by other mods, including Domino's Pizza, NuclearCraft and EnderIO, and several new multiblocks such as an Electric Baking Oven. It requires GregTech CE, a recent version of which the mod needs. The Unofficial turn of the mod requires CodeChickenLib, and the latest version requires MixinBootstrap and MixinBooter. Players can also configure the recipes, and the author notes that the mod may be used to make food much more expensive to produce. GTFO is released under the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 only and is open source. Files are published for Forge on 1.12.2, with 1.12.8 as the latest build, and it runs on client and server.
