WoodlandFoxVerses is a Touhou Little Maid add-on that shows poems, English words, math formulas and tips in maid chat bubbles.

What it does

Touhou Little Maid maids display short texts in chat bubbles during play. This add-on fills those bubbles with material drawn from a set of 300 Tang Song poems, English vocabulary lists at junior high, senior high, CET-4, CET-6 and college levels, and classic mathematical formulas. The texts appear at random, so a player who stays near a maid sees a changing mix over time.

The bubble textures are credited to YSBB, and the poems come from the chinese-poetry project. Fonts used for the text include ChillCalligraphy Font Hanchan Shuti and Libertinus Font. The add-on can also be extended with KubeJS to add game tips to the rotation.

The mod requires Touhou Little Maid on both Forge and NeoForge. Installation covers the server and each player's game. Builds cover Minecraft 1.20.1 – 1.21.1, with the latest files dated 2025-08-23 for 1.20.1 on Forge and 1.21.1 on NeoForge, and the code is released under the MIT License as open source.
