WMTM | Way More than Minecraft! is a Fabric mod that makes survival harder by making bare-handed log breaking hurt and requiring crafted tools for wood.
What it does
Breaking a log with bare hands deals damage to the player, so wood has to be harvested with tools. Getting logs means crafting sticks and axes first, which pushes the early game toward a more realistic, tougher pace. The author describes the goal as making Minecraft more realistic and harder, and says more features are planned. Client and server both need the mod, and it requires Fabric API. Files exist for 1.21.8, 1.21.9 and 1.21.10, with 1.2 for 1.21.10 as the latest, and the code is under All rights reserved.
