Weather mod giamatamat adds tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes to Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric, along with craftable Alerter blocks that warn players before a disaster reaches them.
What it does
Disasters roam the world and can fling entities and tear blocks apart when they pass through an area. The mod targets Minecraft 26.2 on Fabric, and the required components are Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer, Fabric API 0.152.2+26.2 and Java 25 or newer. Users who want more weather variety than vanilla offers can run it on a single-player world or a server.
Alerter blocks are crafted from items such as iron ingots, redstone lamps and glass, and they give a warning before a disaster strikes. Warning states indicate how close the threat is, with safe, within 500 blocks and within 100 blocks levels accompanied by beep sounds. The mod depends on Useless Alerter, which supplies the base alerter blocks that the disaster alerters extend. Files for the mod are published only for 26.2, with 1.0.0 as the latest file released on 2026-07-01.
Servers that run it need every player to install it too. The code is not open source, and the mod is released under All rights reserved. Public links for the source code and an issue tracker are available from the project page.
