Version 666 is a NeoForge Cursed mod that lets the server carry out disruptive world events, including block destruction, sound, summoned entities and lightning.

What it does

The mod gives a server a set of harmful world effects. Version 666 can break and place blocks, play sounds, spawn entities, shift the time of day, hurt players, call down lightning and tamper with the oxygen meter. The author notes that the mod also includes events that ban parts of the world from being made or entered, so the effects can change what players are able to do in a given area.

Because the effects act on shared world state, the author recommends running the mod in multiplayer only with care, since some things can break. The mod was inspired by The Broken Script and its wendigo drip content. Version 666 is server-side only, so players join without installing it.
