Vectorientation:RF is a client-side NeoForge mod that changes how falling blocks are drawn so they rotate toward their direction of travel.

What it does

The mod rotates falling blocks such as sand and anvils to face the direction they are moving, adding a small visual change to dropped blocks. Its options let the squash and stretch of these animations scale with speed, following classic animation principles, and a piston extension animation is included as well.

Only the client needs the mod, since it changes what players see and nothing on the server. The code is open source under the MIT License, and the source code and issue tracker are public. Files are published for NeoForge 1.21.1 only, with version 1.0.0 as the latest, released 2025-08-21.
