Vapeaholic adds vape pods to Minecraft Forge 1.20.1, where a player fills a pod with potions and takes short bursts of their effects.
What it does
Vape pods are the core item. A pod is loaded with a potion and used for short bursts, so the effect is applied for a brief period rather than a full bottle's duration. The mod adds potion types such as Night Vision, Jump Boost and Fire Resistance, and the list of currently available potion types is still growing while the mod is in development.
Potions in a pod are brewed the same way vanilla Minecraft brews them, so the brewing process itself stays familiar. Water pods are a separate case: a pod with water inserted does not carry a potion effect. Sixteen dye colors can be applied to a vape pod, which changes its appearance without changing what it holds.
The mod is built for Forge only and is published for 1.20.1. Servers that run it need every player to install it too. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial Share Alike 4.0 license and is not open source.
