Vanillafied Sodium Options

by Nirsland

Vanillafied Sodium Options gives the video settings screen of Sodium and Embeddium the look of vanilla Minecraft's own options menu.

FabricForgeClient-side onlyMIT License1.16.4 – 1.20.1

What it does

Sodium and Embeddium each have their own options screen, which differs from the vanilla video settings. This mod restyles those screens so they follow the vanilla video settings layout, keeping the familiar buttons and spacing. The change is cosmetic and does not alter which options exist or what they do.

The mod targets Fabric and Forge and covers 13 release versions, 1.16.4 – 1.20.1, with the latest files for 1.18.2. Both Embeddium and Sodium must be installed alongside it. Because it changes only the client, it is limited to the Client-side only environment, and servers run without it. The code is under the MIT License and is not open source.

Key features

  1. Vanilla-style options screen

Sodium and Embeddium options follow the layout of the vanilla video settings menu.

  2. Familiar buttons and spacing

The restyled screen keeps the buttons and spacing players already know from the vanilla menu.

  3. Cosmetic change only

The restyling changes how the options screen looks and leaves the rendering settings themselves unchanged.

Questions

Does Vanillafied Sodium Options need Sodium or Embeddium?

Yes. Embeddium and Sodium are both required dependencies, so the matching base mod must be installed for the restyled screen to work.

Do servers need Vanillafied Sodium Options?

No. Players add it to their own game, and a server needs no copy.

Is Vanillafied Sodium Options compatible with Reese's Sodium Options?

No. Reese's Sodium Options is listed as incompatible, so the two should not be installed together.
