Vanilla+ Layers
Vanilla+ Layers adds two-pixel-tall layer blocks that stack up to eight high, so builders can shape slopes and partial heights.
What it does
Layer blocks stack in steps of one eighth of a block, letting a build reach any height between a slab and a full block. The blocks are placed like other decorative pieces and can be combined with the rest of the vanilla palette. The mod is one part of the Vanilla+ Collection, which covers most of the content of vanilla Minecraft. The mod needs Fabric API and runs on Fabric for the 1.21.4 – 1.21.8 range. Installation covers the server and each player's game. The code is available as source, and the mod is released under a Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial 4.0 license, so it is not open source.
Key features
Stackable layer blocks
Layer blocks stack up to eight high, each step two pixels tall, for smooth terrain and detailed trim.
Fine height control
Builders can place partial heights between slabs and full blocks without cutting or resizing other pieces.
Vanilla palette
The layer blocks follow the look of vanilla blocks, so they sit naturally next to existing builds.
