Vanilla Knives adds a simple knife weapon for Forge on Minecraft 1.20.1, made with the MCreator tool.
What it does
The knife trades a little attack damage for a faster attack cooldown than a sword, so each swing lands sooner. The author describes the mod as thoroughly tested and bug-free, aimed at players who want a plain, vanilla-friendly melee option. Files are published for Forge, for 1.20.1 only, and the code is under All rights reserved, so it is not open source.
Vanilla Knives was made because the author found no good 1.20.1 Forge knife mod that met these goals. Among the alternatives in the catalog, Real knife and Christo's Cutlery are also Forge knife mods for 1.20.1, and both run on client and server.

A thuroughly tested and buggless simple and fun knife mod. the attack damage is slightly less than a sword but the attack speed is 1.8 (faster cooldown). I made this mod because there where no good 1.20.1 forge knife mods so i made one!
