Unique Items
Unique Items controls how often specified items show up from crafting recipes and loot tables, with a configuration file that sets which items are unique.
What it does
Unique Items limits certain items so that they can only be created a set number of times, whether they come from crafting or from loot tables. The configuration file lets the server owner choose which items count as unique and whether the listed items are inverted, so that everything except the list is limited instead. Items marked as unique stop appearing repeatedly once the limit is reached.
A server running it needs every connecting player to have it too. It is published for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, with files for 1.20.1 and 1.21.1. The author notes that the mod is not yet compatible with custom crafting benches and plans to look into that in the future. The code is released under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only, and the mod is open source with public links to its source code and issue tracker.
Key features
Limited crafting
Specified items can only be crafted a fixed number of times, which keeps rare results from flooding a world.
Loot table limits
The same limit applies to items dropped from loot tables, so a chest or mob cannot keep producing the same unique item.
Configurable item list
A configuration file sets which items are unique, and an inverted option applies the limit to every item not on the list.
Credited code and textures
The author credits Jeryn99 for code the mod uses and Wicked for the idea behind the textures.

Use cases
Server economy
Server owners can cap rare items so that trading and progression stay balanced over time.
Survival progression
Players in a survival world can keep high-tier gear scarce by limiting how many times it is made or found.
Who it’s for: Server owners who want to control how many copies of certain items enter a world, and modpack authors who need a limit on crafted or looted items without changing recipes.
How it compares
Easy Crafting Table is server-side only and open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later, with files for 1.20.1 – 1.21.10 on Forge and NeoForge. Visual Loot Edit is client and server, uses the MIT License and is not open source, with files for 1.20.1 – 26.1.2 on Forge and NeoForge. Unique Items covers both crafting and loot tables, and the environment and license differ from both.
