Uncraft Quartz Blocks is a datapack that lets players break quartz blocks back into quartz, so the mineral is easier to get before the Nether opens.

What it does

Quartz blocks can be uncrafted into their quartz items, which makes the material available to players early on, and the datapack can be loaded on a server for that purpose. Quartz is also obtainable from villagers through the same change, so a world needs less travel to the Nether to build with it. Uncraft Quartz Blocks requires a server, and the client is optional; the mod is published for Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Quilt, and as a Data pack, for 1.21.4 – 26.3 under All rights reserved.

A simple datapack that allows you to uncraft quartz blocks, making quartz obtainable from villagers. I made this datapack in order to make quartz obtainable before the nether opens on servers. This also makes quartz easier to obtain in general, which allows you to build with it more.
