Tricksy Foxes, a Fabric mob mod, lets players convert vanilla foxes into custom-tailored versions with new behaviours and abilities.

What it does

Tricksy Foxes provides a way of converting vanilla foxes into a titular version with custom behaviour. Converted foxes can act as automation helpers, tidying a storage hall or maintaining a wall of furnaces, and they can serve as a bodyguard. A Periapt of Prescience can be given to a fox to send it on a tour through dimensions, and the mod uses Cardinal Components API to store the extra fox state.

The mod is client and server, so the server and every player need it. Fabric API is required alongside Cardinal Components API. Files target 1.20 – 1.20.2, with 4.1 for 1.20.2 as the latest build from 2025-05-04, released under All rights reserved, so the code is not open source.
