Treasury
by lijinhong11
Treasury is a shared economy bridge for Fabric and NeoForge that lets other mods read and change balances through one API.
What it does
Treasury provides an economy layer rather than a currency of its own. Mods that need money or points register an implementation with it, and the other mods call the API instead of depending on a specific economy. The registry holds one primary economy provider for normal currency, and an optional points provider for a premium currency; only one points provider is allowed, and it must be registered during mod initialization. Registering a second one throws an exception.
Treasury is aimed at server owners who run several economy-aware mods and want them to share balances. Both loaders are supported across builds for 1.20 – 26.1.2, and the mod runs on the client and on the server, so the server and every player need it. The code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and is open source, with a public source repository and issue tracker.
Key features
Economy provider registry
A stored registry holds the economy implementations, so calling mods use one interface for every backend.
Primary provider selection
One provider is chosen as the primary economy, and the others remain available for other mods to query.
Premium points currency
A dedicated points provider covers the premium currency, kept separate from the normal economy balance.
Multiple providers
The registry accepts several providers at once, so economy mods from different authors can coexist on one server.
Compatibility
Latest build for each game version and loader.
26.x3 of 3 versions with builds
1.21.x12 of 12 versions with builds
1.20.x7 of 7 versions with builds
Only full game releases are shown. This mod publishes no snapshot builds.
Use cases
Shared balances across mods
A server with shops, jobs and quests can route every payment through one economy so the balances match.
Developer integration
Mod authors can depend on the Treasury API instead of coding against each economy mod separately.
Who it’s for: Server owners running several economy-aware mods, and mod developers who want their money features to work with any economy backend.
How it compares
Economy Fabric is a Fabric-only option under a custom license, and it works on either side, with neither side requiring it. RC Economy is a NeoForge-only build for 1.21.1 under the MIT License. EconomyMc is open source under the GNU General Public License v3.0 only and runs on Fabric and NeoForge for 1.21.4 – 26.2, which overlaps Treasury's loaders and license.
