Traveler's Backpack Stack Extension
by Wne1144
Traveler's Backpack Stack Extension raises the item limit of each backpack slot in Traveler's Backpack, so one slot can hold more than the normal stack size.
What it does
The extension changes only the stack limit of the backpack slots added by Traveler's Backpack. By default a backpack slot holds up to 256 items of a kind, where a plain Minecraft slot stops at 64. Stacks outside the backpack keep the normal vanilla limits, so inventory slots, chests and hoppers behave as before.
The stack limit is set in a simple configuration file, and the value is chosen to give a moderate increase rather than an unlimited one. Installation requires Fabric API, Forge Config API Port and Traveler's Backpack, and the mod is client and server, so both the server and every player need it. Builds exist for 1.21.11 only, with 1.0.4 as the latest Fabric file, released in the beta channel on 2026-07-13.
Key features
Larger backpack stacks
Each backpack slot holds more items of one kind, so bulk materials take up fewer slots.
Vanilla limits kept outside
Only the backpack's own slots change, while normal Minecraft stack limits apply everywhere else.
Configurable stack limit
The per-slot limit can be adjusted in a configuration file, and the default is 256 items per slot.
Single clear purpose
The mod changes one value and adds no new items, blocks or screens.

Use cases
Bulk storage on the road
Players who carry large amounts of building blocks or food in a backpack can fit more of each type into fewer slots.
Efficient backpack use
Anyone who wants to pack a backpack more efficiently can raise the per-slot limit to fit how they play.
Who it’s for: Players who already use Traveler's Backpack and want larger stacks inside it, and server owners who want to offer the same change to all players.

What the author says
Adds a customisable stack limit to the backpack slots in Traveler's Backpack. By default, items in the backpack can be stacked in quantities of up to 256 per slot. This value was chosen to provide a moderate increase and can be adjusted via the configuration file. A more convenient in-game configuration using Modmenu…
