Transit API is a Fabric library that moves data between objects, giving other mods one shared method for transmitting similar data between blocks, items and entities.

What it does

Transit API provides a lightweight registration system and a set of methods that other mods can call to convert and transmit data between the objects they define. Mod authors use it to store and use data across systems whatever those objects are. The library runs on client and server, so both sides need it when a mod built on it is installed, and it is released under the MIT License as open source for Fabric 1.16.1 – 1.20.2.
